A third-generation ceramicist, Priya specializes in the traditional Khurja Blue pottery. She sources local clay and mixes her own glazes using age-old family recipes, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike.

How It's Made

Sourcing the Earth

Local clay is gathered, filtered, and aged to achieve the perfect plasticity.

Wheel Throwing

Each vase is shaped individually on a manual potter's wheel, relying on touch and muscle memory.

Sun Drying & Trimming

The pieces dry under the sun before each base is trimmed for stability.

Hand-Painting

Fine brushes carry intricate motifs across the surface using natural cobalt oxide.

High-Fire Kiln

The final firing vitrifies the clay and turns the oxide into a glossy azure.
